After spending a lot of time promoting her new film, Michelle Williams and her daughter spent some quality time together as they went shopping in New York City on Wednesday afternoon.

The mother-daughter duo also checked out some home decor stores and then a children’s clothing store where you can see Matilda’s face lit up.

Michelle Williams will be portraying Glinda in the highly anticipated “Oz: The Great and Powerful” which is released in theatres this Friday! Directed by Sam Raimi, the film is an unofficial prequel to The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.
